Brentwood Cathedral
Brentwood is a place I would never have gone to if it didn’t have a cathedral. I went there with a couple of friends and had a great time. It’s a very nice small town, probably, a commuter one as it’s so close to London.
The Catholic cathedral of St Mary and St Helen started its life as a parish church in 1861 that became a cathedral in 1917. In 1989, the cathedral was enlarged, it’s a big cathedral now and so it must have been very small.
While we were in Brentwood, we also went to the Anglican church of St Thomas of Canterbury. Another very nice church, personally, I preferred it to the actual cathedral.
Here are some photos of the Cathedral.
