York Minister (Cathedral)

I went to York or Eboracum, as the Romans called it before I thought of visiting all of the cathedrals. I really went there to visit the National Rail Museum and the Jorvik centre both of which are great places to visit. The deal that I got on my hotel gave me, effectively, an extra day for free and so I went to the York Castle Museum , walked around the town walls, visited the shambles and ended up at York Minister almost by accident.

There’s a lot to see and do and well worth a trip of 3-4 days.

I will be going back to York both to take more photos of the minster as well as to go to Rippon to photograph the Cathedral there.
